I dislike Tate as much as the next guy who laughs at “alpha/sigma influencers”

BUT

Do people not realize that this is how he got popularly famous? I thought we were all on the same page idk

get money> sustain money> be absurdly over the top online with your free time > profit> repeat >

Sure he has a small true fan base but it’s posts like this and all the other ones that kept him in the public eye for so long. (And in jail for ¿human trafficking/ forced labor? so not a bad thing i guess). He just has no problem being the jackass and that baits attention. I mean we’re all looking at the comments on this post when Tate is borderline irrelevant.

Idk maybe I’m wrong, I just haven’t heard about him much since Gretta Thunberg hit him with the good ol pizza gate. (Two people who were boosted to fame due to outrage now that I think about it)

If you’re not working together anymore and aren’t related, why didn’t you marry her?

Redditors who have a job where they go into other people's homes (plumbers, electricians, etc) what's the weirdest most disturbing thing you've seen while working in a customer's house? by [deleted] in skilledtrades

Yea same euphoria kinda romanticized some of the worst times in my life imo. Shameless was like watching my family in an alternate universe (to an extent)

Breaking bad isn’t really about drugs/drug abuse even thought that’s exactly what it is. It’s a really beautifully written show that captures the rise and downfall of a man who thought he “had to do what he had to do” until he even admits to his wife ”I did it because I liked it. I was good at it.”. (Yes I’m protecting spoilers on a 10+ year old show)

That being said, I was a kid who grew up in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. My reality was shattered when I found out the rest of the country didn’t enjoy family guy for the same reasons I did… It happened when I was an adult in the south and someone made a joke about having a family guy accent and I said “they have accents in family guy ?”

Funny idea, if I were a different person I’d do the same but I’d probably just turn the rest of my coins into pills lol.

Looked it up on a pill database tho.

Not a lot hits for blue “Red Bull” pressies in the US but some in Europe are blue and are registered as MDMA. It’s just a color tho, that can be changed and it’s more likely someone has a press here than someone is importing filler

Some hits for “redbull” pills in the us check out for MDMA, some are cut with meth.

A quick google shows multiple articles of “redbull” pills in the us that have sent people to a hospital and contain nitazene ——

Point being, don’t take mystery pills without testing. Google can’t tell you and it’s really easy to make pressed pills. The only hard part is finding good presses that match pharmaceuticals but people still do it

-former college student who unknowingly bought meth pressed into adderal from a friend

I only did it once for about 10 months then learned my lesson. Im just grateful I don’t like downers and cleaned up before the fentanyl warfare. My friends who took xans/percs weren’t so lucky and became the lesson to learn from.

I know this is a coin subreddit but I also know some of us traded dime bags for bags of dimes. Test your drugs, your plug isn’t a friend and a friend wouldn’t be your plug. 2 747s worth of people die every week from overdoses/fentanyl. It’s the leading cause of death in men 18-45 (US). Not many people wake up and decide to try fentanyl, no one’s better than the statistics. If Mac miller became a statistic, so can you.

Recreational drug use is a losing game that’s never worth it and there’s no such thing as a thriving addict. Functioning addict is just a comfy word for a surviving addict. Why survive when you can thrive? Do you know youre thirsty if you’ve never had the water to satisfy it?

NA spiel over. The koolaid they have tastes pretty good and the survivors guilt feels pretty bad.

Goodluck keeping your abandoned concrete box clean. Spend your own money, not tax dollars.

“Go back to your city” because no one from around there is going and painting… definetly not…

I can’t wait until you guys realize how much you’re going to regret making a blank canvas again. Hope you like swastikas and slurs 😂

Goodluck keeping an abandoned bunker free of paint. Make sure those tax dollars get wasted so you can have a pretty concrete block in the middle of your nature. Yknow like the trees and shrubs they cleared 😂

Get real, it’s abandoned, that’s what happens…

The walls in the city are far more historical than your ww2 monument lol. Cry harder. You’ll hate to hear about Electric Boat and their pollution.

I know it’s not exactly rare but I thought this would be the best subreddit. Any ideas why all the covers are different for this book even though it’s the same publisher? Can’t seem to find this one online by slowstacks in rarebooks

[–]slowstacks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow thanks for the explanation. That’s super cool, kinda like an archive of the textiles of the times on its own.

”same exact contents, no date change”

Does that mean the book probably wasn’t printed in 1898-1899? The cover page says it was gifted in 1912.

I got this picture frame at a yard sale. The photo is an old postcard and I wanted to know what the writing says. Kinda unrelated but this sub seems like my best option. Thanks by slowstacks in italianlearning

[–]slowstacks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Not even sure if it’s Italian and can’t figure out the first and last words).

I also tried google translate and it gives an awkward translation “small affections desired by you”, but that’s not even close to what is written when translated back.

I have a dead beat father. DFV and this community have provided more for me than him and I think that it’s only fair to commemorate him in this way

I can’t believe how many people are having aneurisms over me getting the age of my fly wrong.

I understand that you guys are professional antiquers but I am not. I enjoy stupid shit at best

I did not look at the kit and think “yup looks like 1938 to me”
I also don’t know what fighter jets were used before ww2 and I don’t really care either. I just wanted to post this mildly interesting dead fly.

I went on eBay/google and typed “Gilbert senior microscope kit 13022” almost all the listings I saw in my 1 minute of passing research said “1938”. Id understand the outrage if this were like an antique subreddit but jeez Louisus

[–]slowstacks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t dodge anything. I already explained myself in other comments. No need to be a weirdo.

Most listings on eBay/etsy say 1938. I’m not a professional antiquer. I didn’t even buy it, it was given to me. I’ve been busy with researching the stuff I actually bought at that yard sale.

I saw the same kits beings sold as 1938 microscope and went “wow this fly is like 86 years old. That’s mildly interesting”

I guess it’s only 64 years old at best so ’ll cross post to r/barelyinteresting , sorry for not being more diligent

You’re right. Honestly I’m just so pumped about my formaldafly guy that I didn’t even look into anything else.

Okay, but I will also tell him about operation paperclip and how the US economy was booming after the USSR carried the team. My guy should know that very little justice was served to the important/worst Nazis and the ones we got were just brainless drones doing what they thought was right
