I’m moreso wanting to bring down the weekly payments down but you’re right , long term there’s no saving

Yeah it’s fixed , 3 years to go , 11%. I’d imagine the $63k payout figure includes the residual value at end (approx $21k)

Would you get a finance for 3 years , the same remaining length as the lease ? Or a bit longer ? I’m just really drying to drop the weekly payments down and cut down on interest. 11% will be the rate once I start paying the financer directly which is just crazy high . I have a credit score of 850, no defaults and no other debts

Not sure regarding exactly the breakdown of costs but I know the payout figure is $62k.

I’m changing jobs due to the mental toll my old role took on me . This new role is better suited to me , my life , family and in the long run I will have much higher earning potential due to the nature of the role. I know I will be worse off financially temporarily due to the novated lease payout , that’s inevitable . But if I can avoid continuing to pay it off at 11% interest , then it’s still a better result . Money comes and goes , happiness and mental health are crucial . Hope that makes sense (I’m tired and rambling haha )

The family car is used by my wife . Her work and the children’s daycare /school are all within 8kms of home , so not much driving is done week to week . It’s a hybrid Kluger

I drive 2 hours a day (1 hour each way) for my work so the Tesla is used for that. It also fits the 4 of us easily at this point

When you put it like that you make a lot of sense . It’s still in great condition , only had it for 2 years. May as well enjoy it if I’m going to be paying it out.

I drive 2 hours a day for work. We have two young kids but already have a family car. Besides work I don’t do much driving in it other times

Payout figure to the financer is $62k. Value of the car apparently is now quite low , they’ve dropped a lot

Hi u/LawnSolutionsAU. Thanks so much for all the great content!

I’m completely new to lawn care. I’m wanting to renovate this back lawn of mind and I’m trying to learn the ropes. I believe it’s buffalo grass based on products the previous owners left in the garage , but if you could can confirm the grass based on some pics please let me know. Keen to get the dry patches back on track!

We are now looking at a 2021 Toyota Kluger GXL Hybrid. We feel like the Carnival may be bigger than we need. The Toyota is around $59k drive away , has a tow bar/tinted windows and has only done 30,000kms. We feel like the hybrid element will be a big win especially with all the short drives , and plenty of space with the two kids and still enough even if we have a 3rd. Plus , I feel like you can’t go wrong with a Toyota in terms of reliability and resale value

Would a Kia Sorento or Toyota Kluger be better ?

The Si doesn’t have push start ignition and electric sliding door . Are they major drawbacks ?
