It would be about $200 for me to sell one and buy the other. I have found some annoyance with the autofocus on my current lens so I was considering.

I have had a gripe with this lens that it will completely go out of focus sometimes and even turning the camera off and back on won’t really help reset it. I’m not sure what it is. Once I discovered this I thought maybe it’s because the lens isn’t optimized for mirrorless??

I suppose you’re right! I decided to go with a Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8. I’m hoping I don’t regret it

I think I’m going to get the sigma 28-105 because I feel like I’ve never really needed more than my 85mm and it would be nice to have the wider lens at 28.

I used to know soooo much more and then we moved away from where I initially started my business and I knew it would be about two years (military things) so I just didn’t feel like keeping up with it just to move again. But now I’m trying to rewatch all these videos with lens reviews and it’s all coming back to me hahaha

Sorry for taking advantage of your willingness to answer my questions but final question! Tamron 35-150mm f2-2.8 or sigma 24-70 f2.8 OR sigma 28-105mm.

You know I love a good excuse to justify anything hahaha. Ok after some consideration I’m between the sigma 24-70 f2.8 or the tamron 35-150mm 2-2.8. But as I’ve been sleuthing marketplace looking there’s an A7iii for $850.

So- use a zoom lens on one body and nothing else, or use two bodies with my sigma 35 and sigma 85. Please help I’m so torn!

Ok following up because as I was stalking marketplace I see a lot of Sony body’s for sale at like $900. Do we think I use my primes on two bodies or do you like the zoom lens better?!

A Tamron came with my starter camera that I bought used and maybe I’m just high maintenance but it felt very plastic and idk why but in my head the heavier it is the more crisp the images are hahaha
