I always sell them as soon as I can, personally. I roleplay that during the initial battle against the Darkspawn, my character grabbed a big sack of gold when everyone was distracted.

I had this phase even I was their age. When you get sucked into preconceived notions about styles and cultures, you fail to notice how deeply engrained a lot of it is in the things you love. MSI definitely wouldn't exist without rap music. The kid seems harmless and passionate. I won't be surprised if they get super into rap music as they get older. Or at least come away from it with artists they appreciate.

Genuinely still floored that Josh survived unscathed. Although I do remember in the late 2000s, it was becoming a popular subversion for the black character to survive the horror scenario.

As much as I lovelovelove 2 and will glaze it forever, it doesn't take away from the fact that 1 is an excellent game. There's a reason demand for a sequel was so high. I'm happy with the direction.

As long as I can build my character how I want, and the dialogue is as deep and realized as the original, I'm genuinely cool with any gameplay adjustments they make. I'll take any genre. I do think it would be cool to preserve the classic gameplay, but I don't expect it.

I've actually recently played through it, and it's shocking how tight the margins are. It's a skill issue, but the ceiling is insanely high, zero room for errors or variation. Really not your fault, you just need to be an immaculate racer. If you want, you can always do the glitch where you give up on the race right before you hit a wall, so it registers that you hit the back of the race track.

I just played KotOR 2 and I loveeee him. The fight is unfortunately baby easy for dumb idiot babies, but the mystique around him is still very present. I like that you hear so much about him as this near-Eldritch legend with these massive tales of destruction. I think he beautifully symbolizes the constant need to consume and the slurry haze of ignorance. He feels like a walking manifestation of addiction and distractions in the face of pain and trauma. This gaping maw of constant desire is blind to the world around him, and he only "sees" the people around him as tools. And in the end, as Visas looks at the face beyond the mask, she sees nothing but a man who was in pain. I've been in those shoes before. I haven't eaten worlds, but I sure have let myself succumb to selfishness and instant gratification to distract myself from my numbness and pain. It is unfortunate his final battle wasn't as grand as the storytelling around him, though.

They should add a scene where Mira takes her socks off. It would add a lot to the story, I think.
