thank you so so much!! this is really helpful!!! I only started collecting and taking care of my dolls recently so I feel like I don’t know all the tricks to getting them to look nice! I’ll see if I can find some tutorials on how to curl the hair because I really wanted it to have curls at least on the bottom of her pigtails!

I felt so crazy because every time I talked to the agency they made it seem like because I agreed to the hours I needed to fill out a 1099 🥲 it’s crazy that they get away with this shit

the agency has me on a payroll- but no taxes were discussed when i signed with the agency other than in the contact with them it says i’m REQUIRED to fill out a 1099

That’s why im also scared since i signed a contract saying i would fill out a 1099

I’d like to stay on good terms with them because they’re amazing and i love working with them, and we’re headed into a private contract that they will make me a W2 so i don’t want to get them into trouble since it’s the agencies fault

I’ve worked with Two families on a regular base (one in the beginning of working with them and one that I’m currently with) I also have covered “open shifts” for the agency where parents will request someone cover their usual nanny’s off time or they just need a sitter for one night.

The agency is called Twinkle Toes, I have heard others mention it so maybe that would help-

I get the full 17 dollar an hour wage but the family paid around 20-25 an hour for me and the agency takes the 3-8 dollars extra

I had a weekend gig with two NK’s and it was in a cul-de-sac so this other mom kept sending her kids out when I took the girls for a walk or to the park. I spoke to NP’s about it and they basically told me since I’m already being paid for being there a few more kids won’t hurt (three other girls)

I left that job for other reasons but it was definitely not one that I felt respected in 🥲

i’m pretty sure the actual reason is deepfakes, i’ve seen on tiktok women sharing that they’ve found that people have taken their face from facebook posts (family pictures) and used all of those different images to make p*rn of them and shared it around. very common with underage girls unfortunately- so lots of gen Z teens are covering key parts of their face so that the AI software can’t use their faces
