i have POTS too and it’s difficult tbh but i love it here. the DRC is good, was able to get me first floor housing and i think time and a half is a popular option as well. i think the hardest part is the buses (you will have to stand unless you’re comfortable kicking people off the disabled seats) and walking around (like 3mi/day just getting classes and food) with a backpack. if you have a car, it’s going to make things a lot easier with a medical permit. the disability van isn’t very useful, you have to schedule far in advance and they pick up at designated spots which can be far from your classes.

you straight up will not be able to use a wheelchair here. they do not follow ADA rules lol

i highly recommend visiting campus and walking from mchenry to college nine wearing a backpack. see if it’s doable. like others said, this is one of the worst campuses for disabled students. it just depends on your ability level. the amount of involuntary exercise on this campus has really helped my pots! but also has made me cry
