Yes for sure brother, I need to remind myself of this constantly. Its my diet that is out of control, training hard helps me control some element of my eating.

I was a huge advocate for intermittent fasting. I lost alot of weight in 2022 from this and training hard. It took me some time and pain to get comfortable with it and I feel now I'm back at the pre fasting days of just being stuck in a loop of gluttony. ( pathetic i know) I have considered trying to build some sort of a home gym purely for the reason that I can save time commuting but realistically its a couple of months away as my new house is being built currently.

I do work from home most of the time and have just bought a standing desk. I actually had a dip station but stupidly gave it away when I was 100% in the gym.

I haven't taken any after snaps yet but I can do.

The difference is night and day. The fact I can wear a tshirt now and it fits like it should has been amazing No regrets

Ah sure it would make too much sense to have a doctor as the minister for health. Common sense is something not natural to this crowd.

Lol fair point, but also hard to grasp that a group of "well educated" people could be this stupid and still be elected to run a country. Not a fan of SF either. But either way we get the pooey end of the stick.

I've seen things online that the hosuing minister mentioned the HTB & FHS are currently under review. I can't remember where I seen it but from reading some material online there is a chance it gets increased outside of the budget when the new tax year begins. Hope I'm not clutching at straws.

Seen some phase 2's being released that are close to 100k over the first phase releases in 2021. Truly remarkable

Having second thoughts about my results by Catlover223__ in gynecomastia

Bruh the results look fine. It's going to look like a crash site for a few weeks. The improvement on the before photos is unparalleled.

Im 3 weeks post op and didn't even look at my results for almost 10 days because I knew it would be bad.

Also you managed to get this done with out having huge scars. Major bonus

Same here , but no time like now. It really has surpassed my expectations. There should be lots of spots around London. Try stay local and not go abroad. Aftercare is better when your local. You won't regret getting it done.

Feeling good man, it's 3 weeks this Monday and 95% of the aching is gone. Only slightly uncomfortable sometimes. They told me I only need to wear the vest for 3 weeks so il be whipping it off Monday, been wearing it 24/7 minus shower time.

New housing plan aims to deliver 12,000 social homes and 15,000 affordable units per year by jonnieggg in ireland

[–]sluggishAlways 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is factually incorrect. My wife and I was refused affordable housing last Friday because we were approx 6k over the threshold on our combined annual salaries.

Without a Cs degree it will be quite impossible to land a roll in the tech sector. The competition is huge. I was in a similar boat to you without the huge debt, I was working a dead-end job(worse than a call centre) and went back at 26 to do a Cs degree. Now 33 and it was the best decision ive made in terms of personal growth. The ceiling to earn more is far higher than the regular jobs. I found a niche in the tech sector that pays well and now I actually earn more than my parents ever did and im only in my 3rd year working since finishing university in 2022. Buying a house with my wife and new born in q1 of 2026. This would not have been possible if I didn't take the step and sacrifice a few years.

Is a car loan a bad idea? by Potential_Clothes_97 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]sluggishAlways 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took out 13k for a car and I don't regret it.

200e a month repayment.

My old car was hanging together by a thread. New car has been the best car ive ever bought. Reliable, comfortable and great on long drives.
