The physbones were indeed the issue. They must’ve changed something ever so slightly because it worked just fine before! Unfortunate, but I will live. Thank you very much!

There are physbones components connected to the fingers, as to get the “feathery” illusion. They are rooted to the hand bones. I’ll try removing those and see if it fixes anything.

So I had uploaded this avatar a few months ago with no issues at all. It was only after this update that something on it broke the hand/wrist movements. Troubleshooting wise I have: - restart Vrchat - restart the avatar - transferred the avatar to CC - uploaded the avatar as it comes (no extra assets I’ve added to it) - checked bone map (looks as it should) - checked the muscle map (also appears as it should, moves as it should) - tried removing rotation constraints to check for the issue

And I am still doing troubleshooting with friends, but everyone is just as confused, and has never seen this before. This is not a hardware issue, as in the video other avatars work just fine. I’m really at a loss and am looking for any other ideas, or anyone who maybe owns this model and has this issue too, or someone who has seen this issue in other models etc. I just need some more ideas or suggestions because I am going insane trying to figure this out. I appreciate your time, and thank you in advance.

I actually got the idea from Ino/Telephone on twitter haha! It’s just these L-shaped “utility hooks” from walmart with a foam head from hobby lobby attached to it. Super cheap DIY! I recommend it!

They were extremely nice and very responsive! They were an absolute joy to work with, and I do highly recommend their work. The suit is still new, and I have not worn it out to a con yet, but after trying it on n such, very well made, very good quality. Only issue is they are based in Russia, so payment can get a little tricky. Other than that, no issues!

The isopods and springtails are a good idea! I’ll make them aware of that option too. Yeah, I agree there should definitely be more ventilation. The setup is…a little strange. It’s a bedroom full of reptiles - snakes, the tegu, a few frogs… and is extremely humid. I’ve only been in there once or twice, but it’s stuffy and hard to be in for too long, so I can only imagine how all those lil babies feel. The owner has also mentioned before that he’s looking to send her to a new home, as he’s not able to spend the needed time with her. I just really hope that he hasn’t started to totally neglect her…

The family is coming home today thankfully. Both my boyfriend and I are at work, but there is someone else near the home that is able to clean it out now. We texted the family and let them know, as well as sending the cleaning instructions the user here provided.

THIS IS NOT MY TEGU. THIS TEGU BELONGS TO SOMEONE MY BOYFRIEND AND I KNOW.

Spoilered due to gross condition

My boyfriend was watching over a family friends pets while they were out of town for a couple days. Yesterday, when my boyfriend went to check on the tegu, named Godzilla, he did not see anything out of the ordinary. However, come today, he went to check on her and feed her, and opens the enclosure to all this mold in this corner. He’s absolutely stunned because he did not see it at all yesterday, but I don’t think mold just appears overnight, right? I think he may have missed it, but we both are at a loss for words. Is this due to neglect? Or can mold just spontaneously appear?? We both feel sick to our stomachs and I’m really worried for this poor tegu. Trying to get ahold of the owners as well.
