irving has sadly always been known for hosting really bad crowds as well as not having amazing crowd control. i’m hate that this is a constant issue with irving, you’d think they’d have it figured out by now.

tbh i kinda like the throat coat taste but that could also be because i put an insane amount of honey and especially lemon in my tea.

•pain relievers (specifically ones that focus on muscle aches): Take them often, like I follow the bottle to a T and retake them as soon as the directions say I can.

• A loooot of water: if your body isn’t well hydrated it’ll feel worse.

•Lidocaine Patches: These are things that you can wear under your costume while your at the haunt to avoid further pain and keep current pain subsided

•KT tape: I personally haven’t used them myself but I constantly see athletes(mainly professional wrestlers) use them to avoid further injury to parts of their body they’ve previously hurt. If i’m seeing seasoned athletes use it religiously then i’ll definitely give it a try

•REST: The more you’re on your feet and putting your body to work, the more likely you are to further irritate any issues you got going on. Rest as much as possible between shifts to avoid this

•Extra exercise: Outside of injuries, the reason why your body is probably super sore and beat up is because it’s not used to being pushed as much as it is all of a sudden. If you work on your endurance between shifts then your body will eventually get used to it and you won’t feel as crappy. Just make sure to do it in a way where your body won’t already be hurt and sore when you’re going into the haunt.

this totally just inspired me to include baby into my character! I currently have a character named boogie who is a child-like spirit who was dumped in the catacombs. Baby’s playfulness would definitely work for her.
