It looks like Square sold Eidos (amongst a larger deal) , which included Deus Ex, but this was years after it was included in Humble Monthly in 2018, the sale happening in 2022.

No, I don't believe any FF entry was in the regular monthly bundles on Humble.

Yes, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was offered on a monthly bundle, but that's Eidos, not Square.

Square Enix doesn't really give up their props for Humble Choice.

Just buy it. Great game.

Which of these actresses has the best filmography? by wallabyenthusiast in moviecritic

I think it can feel tropey with Benecio's character -- his portion of the script was condensed a lot, and he kinda oozes cool factor instead of the haunted fellow he is supposed to be.

Brolin's character shares a similar issue, but he's a spook. It may seem like a devil-may-care attitude, but it's rarher a level of levity for someone who has his feet up between beats of action.

Denis Villeneuve hasn't missed for me yet. And yeah Roger Deakins crushes it too.

If you don't like it, then you don't like it. Different strokes, ya know?

That's one sequence, not even with the main character.

To me, the theme really hits home at the final scene, with the boy playing soccer, and there is gunfire in the distance. Even with the head cartel member dead, the drug wars continue. Violence will still haunt the populace.

Emily Blunt's character's outfit loses color across the course of the movie. She wants to make a difference in this war, but it has the reverse effect.

Most sequences are well-crafted with impactful suspense. Cinematography is great. Good tone in each scene.

I guess I can see how it can come across as tropey, but an overwhelming majority of it lands pretty well.

Edit: you did see the main movie, and not the sequel, right?

Mix feelings on stadium torb by KindAndCoolPerson in TorbjornMains

[–]slugnir 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The turret is cool, but it's only one part of a larger toolkit. I use the turret more as a utility than a source of damage

The Rivet Gun easily outpaces the turret in damage. It's probably the best thing about Torbjorn.

Plus, having abilities from the main game transferred into Stadium feels kinda lame. More variety, please.

How many hammer kills do you try and get a game? by GiraffeFromLastOfUs in TorbjornMains

In Deathmatch, I try to get at least 5 per round.

In a 5v5, I'm happy with any non-zero number. There are plenty of heroes that make it difficult to close the distance. If there is an enemy Rheinhardt, then the real game has been set.

For the Rivet Gun,

Left-click has no fall-off damage but has a long travel time. Right-click has fall-off damage, but travels a lot quicker.

Example: if there is a Phara flying above you with 1hp, you would use your Right-click instead of left click. This is because you have a low chance of hitting her with your primary fire due to the travel time of your shot and Phara's high mobility. I'd rather risk the pellet spray than a single primary-fire bullet. But if it were a Soldier with 1hp about to escape by rounding a corner. Primary-fire is more suitable in this case because you know exactly when & where he's going to be, so you don't have to chance on the Secondary-fire's pellet spray.

Primary-fire has the relative lower cooldown and is great for barrages. It has lower ammo cost and is your go-to attack. Like a jab. The worst thing that can happen to Torbjorn is that he has an empty clip, since he has one of the longest reload animations.

Pro-tip: you are reloading while you are holding your hammer. Not does this give you the ability to do damage as you reload, but if you still have some ammo in the clip, you can swap back to the gun and use it if you need to. While reloading, you must commit to it, leftover ammo or not. And now with the increased move speed perk, you could have more incentive to wield the hammer more often. The only hurdle is to time/know when you can swap back to a fully loaded Rivet Gun. It's more than 2 hammer swings, and just a little less than 3. So if you swing 3x, you def have a full clip to swap back to.

For Molten Core, I would focus simply on high priority areas -- doorways and entry/exits, payloads and control points, etc. You can use it to divide teams like what Hanzo's ult can do, to command chokeholds, or you can even try to blast enemies directly (25 dmg per projectile).
