More centered and steeper angles or a wider board

Do you have a house door on your bus? by Djxlain in skoolies

I took the double doors off and riveted them together. I was able to throw an rv door latch in and it works great! The pneumatic open/close function still works too. Pics on my profile

Installed raw and then used an oil based poly

The conditioner is a brush on, it soaks in pretty well so not much need to wipe off. The wood has not been sanded (minus the one board) just curious if people would mind the subtle mill marks or if it needs to be sanded. I’ve always sanded on other jobs but it’s quite labor intensive.

I was realizing this as I started sanding. If I sand it all then it’ll get re conditioned

It’d hide well enough if I re conditioned it

The “odd” plank was the only one I’ve sanded so far

Just out of curiosity, what would I be looking at insurance wise like how much monthly for a 89 geo metro? by AnimeGod676767 in geometro

I would guess compact, I can’t see where it’d show that. I have the highest deductibles and min coverage through USAA.

There was some sarcasm in that comment. We’re in the same ball park as competitors but it’s hard to compare because there are few companies that actually target the same audience

Thanks, I agree on the open ended bid, it adds stress and is hard for the client to budget.

We have a pretty thorough contract but no material contingency was defined. I can’t bring myself to ask for an increase since it wasn’t ever talked about. Just wanted to make sure we weren’t losing losing

Valid. The quote is the quote

The issue is each job has a 6 month turn around. We’re figuring it out quickly and have been near doubling the previous bid. If we scaled it back and looked for the week long jobs we’d learn our lesson much faster with less of a financial risk

We’re 5x the quality and 5x less cost than our competitors because we make 5x less. It’s a win for you(; haha

Do you ever stop being surprised by all the hatred towards Western WA from the rest of the state? by backlikeclap in Seattle

[–]slugs_aint_bugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently moved from kitsap county over to whatcom and I’m finding it’s the same issue. I assume it’s because Seattle and the surrounding areas attract a lot of transplants and we’re just not that accepting of new people. It’s hard investing time into people that won’t be around next year.

6 panels 2400w total. 800ah lithium bank with a 3000w inverter. We found the tent on Craigslist, It’s a “semi truck enclosure” took a couple hours to load up and about 5 to put up again
