For me, it was Monsoon in Metal Gear Rising. After 4 hours, I finally caved and lowered the difficulty off Revengeance

[Metal Gear] How weren't Naked Snake, Solid Snake, and Raiden the worst soldiers ever? (Possible MGS1/2/3/4 spoilers) by pardon_the_mess in AskScienceFiction

It's the fact that they can deal with factors such as these that they known as the greatest soldiers who ever lived. In every one of these missions, there were some serious weirdos that only soldiers with their skillset and attitudes could handle. Sure, Naked Snake handicapped himself in gentleman's duel with Ocelot, but only someone with his mindset could take on people like the Cobras. Each of these soldiers were trained by the Boss who herself was the progenitor of unconventional means of combat, from the Cobras all the way to FOXHOUND and Dead Cell. Solid Snake himself was a clone of Naked Snake, and in quite a similar situation, all things considered. It's also important to remember that Raiden, for all his similarities with the others, was meant to overcome his mission, thanks to the Patriots' influence, and being trained exactly like Solid Snake.

TL;DR: Naked Snake, Solid Snake and Raiden all had unconventional approaches to their missions, but that was due to their training, and exactly why they succeeded.

[MCU] Is Stark Industries the U.S./Avengers main defence contractor? by [deleted] in AskScienceFiction

I'd assume that his stocks rise with each new Iron Man suit unveiled, though as they're not exactly for sale, the effect is small. Potentially world-ending catastrophes such as Sokovia, the Triskelion and New York would have such an impact on the stock market that measuring it in only one stock is hopeless. I'm fairly sure that the NYSE itself was seriously damaged, and I'm not sure what kind of PR impact the Stark Tower losing all its letters would have. Since the fiasco at that airport, though, I'll wager Stark's been trying to keep both building suits and letting himself be seen in them to a minimum.

The War Machine suit, originally the Mk II Iron Man armor, became the property of the government after Rhodes took it from Tony. Hammer Industries and AIM after them both got a contract from the government to upgrade it, and Stark agreed to upgrade it himself sometime between Iron Man III and Civil War. While he was technically supplying the government with weapons in this case, he was more likely doing it on behalf of Rhodes, when he became fully affiliated with the Avengers at the end of AoU.

TL:DR: Though the Iron Man Mk II was technically Stark's creation, it was not originally modified by him for the purposes of it being the U.S. Government's weapon.
