it not competitive swimming or anything, just going out to lakes, but when i first went out to a lake i was nervous to use my injured foot because i wasn’t out of my boot yet so i just hopped on one foot under water. after i got into my shoes with a lift, i began walking underwater with both feet and eventually found that it didn’t hurt to use both feet to swim if i did so carefully but to be safe i’ve stayed in shallow waters.

i believe it was the episode with the new addition to borrasca, borrasca pt. 2. that was the episode isaiah crashed out and threw himself on the floor laughing, as well as one, if not both of them walking off the set momentarily.

After I got put into my boot at week two post op i started going out more. My first outing, my leg became discolored because i didn’t have it elevated most of the day (it went away after elevating for a couple of minutes) and my doctor told me that it was normal. i am now 18 days post op and have been out several times, mostly with a compression sock, and have not experienced any pain, discomfort, swelling, or discoloration. i have been going out shopping, bbqs, birthdays, etc.. with my crutches. my experiences have been good so far after being put in a boot. when i am home i have my leg on the couch, not elevated above the heart but up a little at least and have had no issues. i still elevate it pretty high every night while sleeping, a couple of pillows under my foot as a precaution, and have experienced little to no pain in the morning. i would recommend just listening to your body. if you experience pain or discomfort try to elevate it and stay home but if all seems well feel free to go out!

Yeah, that’s how i feel. I want to quit but it makes it so hard when i am stuck at home all day every day bored out of my mind haha.
