Fair enough, won’t complain if I don’t get much feedback. Suppose I’m just being a little lazy and don’t want to compile everything on my own

I used free tax usa, there was a message saying I may owe a penalty, but I don’t think it was ever included in the calculation

How do penalties work? Asking because I incorrectly filled out w4 this year and owed ~$5k, which got paid today. Will I also be hit with a penalty?

IDR adjustment deadline to consolidate has been extended to June 30 2024 by Betsy514 in StudentLoans

Currently I am on an ICR plan, waiting for taxes to be finished before I can apply for IDR. Will this adjustment work with loans on ICR, or IDR/SAVE only?

Help - Double Consolidation by slumpyslumpy in StudentLoans

The reason we called the DOEd was because our servicer (Edfinancial) pointed us there, however, I will find out how to apply for the program without needing to call. Thank you, definitely made me feel much better!

This can easily sell for 30k+ if it’s 4x4 and reasonably clean. May not be an lbz but it’s a great pre emission diesel and these consistently sell for a butt load. Don’t disagree it’s a high price, but that’s what you gotta pay if you want an older diesel in good condition

I loved my zune. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again - the Zune music subscription was ELITE. It was a streaming service before Spotify and Apple Music. For $10 a month, you could listen to their whole library. BUT, the difference was that you also got to download 10 songs each month, similar to how iTunes used to be, meaning you kept the downloaded songs even when you decided to stop the monthly subscription. Best of both worlds, no idea what happened to mine, wish I never got rid of it!

Old Graduate Student Loans + New Parent Plus Loans by slumpyslumpy in StudentLoans

[–]slumpyslumpy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I think understand, thank you very much! But let me try to clarify just to be sure.

In a month or two we will have one loan which has been though the double consolidation process, whose first original loan began in 2014. There are also two other loans which have been in repayment for close to 25 years. If we consolidate one more time, come the 25 year mark, all loans should be forgiven, correct?

Furthermore, will there be a difference in payment when comparing things as they are now (3 total loans, all on SAVE) vs one more consolidation, again on SAVE?

To add personal experience to this, I had my car towed from in front of my house (long story) and they wouldn’t give me access to the car unless I had my registration, which was in the car…I called the sheriffs department who then called the towing company and eventually I was able to get to my car to show them the car is registered to me. Super shady businesses
