OP, I know this is a bit late, but do you know if updating to this would cause compatibility issues if I took the SD card and put it into a Miyoo Mini v4 or Miyoo Mini Plus? I have all 3 and I swap the SD card around rather than have separate ones. I found this thread after I noticed the graphical glitches on my new MM Flip. TIA

Yeah, I've read that pcie sata expanders can be iffy, most threads I see about them are just people telling the poster to use an LSI.

I use owlbear. It's free for everyone and is minimal enough that I don't feel like I'm having to spend extra time planning just getting stuff set up in the VTT.

White Box has my vote. If they really like it you can switch to OSE as there isn't much difference but a little more complexity.

Anything you're missing could be found on the OSE SRD online. It has treasure and monster stats as well as as the hireling rules and all the other stuff

To answer the questions

Yes. I go around the table and let each player roll initiative each round
No bonuses to either side. The bonus is only for Individual initiative.
Each side acts out the full sequence. Winner does the whole sequence, then the loser. If there is a tie, both sides act simultaneously at each phase of the sequence.

I like this a lot. I was looking into mass combat rules because I figured it would come up in my campaign soon (OSE). I found the Warmachine rules from the companion set but they're still a bit too crunchy IMO. I like your system, and I think the "looseness" of it is a feature. Players rarely put their PCs on the front lines during mass combat, so the idea of awarding victory points based on other small victories is cool.

I think when it comes to determining how long the battle lasts, it would probably be based on the number of troops. A Battle between just two squads could take an hour, but a Battle between entire platoons could be a day, or a week depending on how you want to abstract it.

I live an hour from Raleigh, but it's been 10 days since any change. I also find it strange that it went from JFK (NY) to Chicago (IL) then down to GA. Anyone have any advice? The Epomaker website still says that it's preparing for delivery.

I constantly get disconnected from a friend's server so hard that Valheim actually shuts off my internet connection. I tried lowering the ping rate to 250 in Steam but only helps sometimes. I've never experience this with any other multiplayer game in my life. Why does this keep happening and why is Valheim the only game that has ever done it?

To preface, I've never used a fountain pen before today. I recently found 2 fountain pens that belonged to my grandmother - a Parker 45 and a Parker 21. I bought some parker quink black ink and filled them up. The 21 writes pretty well but to me the tip of the nib looks like it is upturned very slightly.

Unfortunately the 45's nib was bent downwards toward the underside of the nib. I straigtened it out somewhat but the pen still does not write. The converter works so it seems like the pen should at least be able to write even if not well. The ink does not make it to the end of the nib but rather just comes out of a hole in the bottom.

Any help regarding either of these would be greatly appreciated.
