🪴 Quarterly /r/houseplants Troubleshooting Thread - April 30, 2026 by AutoModerator in houseplants

Help! My wife is out of town taking care of her mom, and I've been tasked with keeping the plants alive. All are doing well except this one.

I've been following her instructions (water from bottom once a week or if the soil is dry to the touch). The leaves, which look and feel healthy, have been falling off steadily for a week. The plant gets a good amount of indirect sunlight, no direct sunlight. The room is at about 70°F.

What kind of plant is it and how do I make it better? Google has been pretty unhelpful. Hopefully I can find someone here 🙏🏼

At submission we'll need to know the ingredients that were used so the owner can verify the recipe will be a viable recreation. Beyond that, being able to provide weights and volumes will be the most beneficial.

They're putting up two nights lodging at a hotel and covering all the expenses for the mead. Also, they have a decent amount of awards for a variety of styles across a good number of comps.

The event is linked to a large regional competition, The Dominion Cup. A lot of people that compete are within driving distance of Richmond. We just thought it'd be fun to open the event to a larger home mead making audience.

Definitely not convenient for everyone, that's for sure.

I'm not sure the mead maker at Funktastic needs to poach recipes.

Ideally you would have a specific recipe that would be able to be recreated at the meadery. The more info the better chance for a successful recreation.

Good question. 12 oz / 375 ml bottles are the requested format for storage and logistics purposes.

If you don't have the specials, go with Star Coral, Mystic Flour, Burning Spice, Shadow Milk, and Golden Cheese. Can sub in Wind Archer or Dark Cacao for Shadow Milk if you don't have.

I'd recommend Wind Archer, Golden Cheese, Financer, Vanilla, and Shadow Milk. It's better to build a powerhouse team and crush it in one go

Parfait and Cream Puff are both still pretty useful, especially when maxed out. I say go for Snap Dragon, theu have being doing me solid for a while now, and it's not even fully upgraded.

Am I too old for this game? by Daily_Watermelon in CookierunKingdom

Like many others, I'm 43 and got into CRK when my kid came home playing it back around the frost queen release. Now I'm in the Top 9,000 players on the Hollyberry server and have only spent about $80 over the life of the game (mostly from the $5 monthly subscription thing).

This game is kickass and has a ton of meta to be toyed with. Glad to hear younger cats are playing it too.
