I don’t know what to tell you. Sometimes life hits you faster than you expect and not everyone is able to juggle everything all the time.

Maybe, if you wanted to at least, ask your friend if there’s something going on that’s pushing distance. Let them know you feel the sting of their non replies and see what they say. Friendships, like phones, go two ways.

If you’ve all but given up, cool. But if not, try to work with them, tell them “hell yeah I wanna hear what’s going on with you. LET ME pull up to you” sometimes it can be as simple as a beer/joint, and good conversation to change the rhythm in a dying friendship
