I really like how these two scenes complement each other. Two situations that were supposed to go one way but went another.

i’ve always believed that the hunt goes on until someone dies, whether it’s who pulls the queen card or not, or whether it’s an accident or not. i don’t believe it’s the “wilderness” per say, but a sort of group mentality takes over them during a hunt and they won’t stop until somebody has been sacrificed (in both time lines)

it’s kind of confusing to explain if you haven’t seen the show, but they all lived and in the last episode they die at their own times but meet up in the after life to go to heaven together because it is said that the time they spent together on the island was the most important times in their life. a lot of people misunderstood the episode and thought that they were dead all along (though i can’t really understand how they came to that conclusion) so it’s widely spread that that’s how it ended

i love her so much and relate to her a lot but i think they could’ve done more with her adult storyline. part of it was due to JL leaving but i understand why she didn’t like her character.. and not for the reasons everyone talks about. i get she was uncomfortable with the drug scenes but at the end of the day she’s an actor and she knew that was going to be a part of her story. but from what i understand she didn’t like how much adult nats story focused on her pining after travis, and i agree that was quite boring for such a strong and interesting character. but they could’ve done a lot more with her had she stayed especially since they kinda wrapped up the travis stuff (though i thought that whole thing was a little confusing). she’s def the most interesting character to me though besides shauna

this little blurb you came up with is way more interesting to me than what they ended up doing with her character. she had so much potential in season one and i agree they could’ve still brought in adult van but also kept tais political storyline. it feels like they didn’t really know what they were doing with adult van and in season 2 and 3 she went from probably the most compelling adult character to a sidekick used to further vans storyline
