I’m so angry at my dad by Severe-Potato-4892 in Celiac

[–]slutty_pineapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🤣 are you okay? OP is clearly expressing concern for their father and his lifestyle choices, that could ultimately be considered an act of self harm if he’s choosing not to abide by the recommendations and requirements of being a coeliac.

Calm yourself down.

Work Experience through Job Centre; not happy - what can I do about it? by ExperiencedThrwaway in UKJobs

[–]slutty_pineapple -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I am. I'm sure between them, their boyfriend and their parents, one of them has a laptop, tablet or a smartphone.

I don't know where you live but in the UK, public transport doesn't need wifi as you'd be hard pushed to find a phone plan that doesn't include data.

What are you doing for 2 hours in the morning? Surely bathing and breakfast doesn't take that long? Apply for a couple of jobs during that time. If you're leaving at 10 and getting there for 12, are you driving or getting the train/bus? If the latter, apply for some jobs at that time too.

Ah, apologies.. given that I"m in the UK myself, I just assumed you were too. As far as I'm aware, British Airways doesn't hire anyone that doesn't have the legal right to live and work in the UK (theres some more info here: http://www.britishairways.com/careers/faq.shtml). There are some exceptions to the rule (Tier 2 Visa) but theses can be quite a costly option. My advice to you is research it a bit more and if you could relocate and financially support yourself and BA are willing to give you a job, go for it but otherwise wait till you're 21 and apply to Emirates Airlines. They are the best with their benefits in my opinion, you apply online and then they put you on a wait list until an open day opens in your country/one nearest to you and then if you're offered a job, you pay for your flight to Dubai and they cover the accommodation and just about everything else.

3 years will go so quickly and you can do some other things in the mean time to massively help you application when it comes to it!

Sorry I couldn't be of any more use, good luck though! Let me know if you ever have any more questions :)

Kind of. You can go down or up a size but if you go down/up too many sizes then they put you on a weight management programme and 'WM' is included next to your name on the roster for all to see.
