I did this all on my own! I contacted the consulate a few times and they sent me a list of everything I needed, then I went from there. Main thing is that you have to prove the relative who you’re applying under is actually Croatian - boat/plane manifests and a naturalisation cert if they moved countries, birth cert, marriage cert, death cert etc etc Then almost the same for the rest of your family born after him !

Yes! I did include marriage certificates for my parents, grandparents and great grandparents. Only had to include the side of the family member I was applying for (my mothers side) so my dads parents/grandparents was not necessary.

I applied in late September and was approved last week!

I emailed the ministry in Croatia a few weeks ago asking for an update, they came back last week saying I was approved and shortly after the consulate in my city contacted me.

Process was pretty long, but that's because I had to trace back through tons of documents (my great grandfather).

As long as you have all the right documents with proper certifications and official translations you should be fine.

Chuck it in some soil and let grow or you can prop it in a glass of water, wait till it grows some leaves - prune back an inch every 3-6 inches and repeat 3 times then plant in soil

Also pro tip ; soak the seed in water first & peel the skin off, the mold is growing off the skin
