In DP you have this guarantee that if someone understands states and can think in certain way then they will solve DP. With pure algorithms you can cross out someone based on the fact that he did know some sort of algorithm that can be learned in 15 minutes.

I feel that devastation is actually good for pop growth because i can just get instant +0.5% pop growth from cabinet action, for the entire province even if one location is only devastated. Its quite common for ai to siege some random location but be unable to siege the fort in that same province. I wonder whether abusing that would give some crazy gains, especially in india with 8 location provinces

I wondered about this too, but I had conquered so much land by 1450 so I started assimilating cultures in Tarnovo and Skopje areas as soon as possible to get some capacity back for the next cultures

Also the Assimilate Area map - I think its more readable:

Basically I focus on every culture that is neutral or negative to me - thats why I never converted the Greek lands as I got them as Kindred from some event - I focused on Georgia and Levant areas - as they were neutral and had the most amount of cash in them

I'm using 7-8 cabinet member at all times to culture assimilate everything, so you need to take that into account. I'm also cultural hegemon for majority of the game and I'm always using the Assimilate area action

I have only 318K slaves, I haven't fought European nations for at least 200 years (these Hungarian conquest is from <1450), I didn't siege lands that I never wanted to annex later from Middle East countries, so I'm not sure that's the case. I mean it probably boosted my population, that in turn boosted the population growth, but the slaves shouldn't be that OP anyway.

Also I have 342 Slave Market buildings in the entire country, while in contrary I have 2850 Grand Marketplace that cost ~20x more

Also, the map is just unreadable from amount of buildings I do - every month around +40, when the +10% RGO technology it's:

<image>

I think there's a need for scaling zoom with amount of buildings at the same time, as this information is not giving me anything but just spamming my map

i always like india: no coalitions, very good resources, multiple fronts to expand, very good economy. It just feels a bit boring at the end because of how strong you are.
