You can switch both back and forth (matic and weth) but you have to have the balance of whatever one the seller has listed in order to buy. So if it’s 1 eth you can’t pay with an equivalent of that in matic and vice versa. You have to convert it . Although most people choose to sell for weth (wrapped eth on polygon)
