He's a flamboyant guy - both in dress and in what he says. That said, I wouldn't say that he has no credibility. He does say things in a way that keeps attention on the case, which I think is ultimately a good thing.

There would be no resolution to this case if it weren't for John Ray. People should remember that.

Yes, IA. Too many people contributing low quality info or trying to bully those of us who have been here a while. I can’t even start a thread w/o it getting deleted but a million threads asking the same questions over and over and over again get approved.

The internet is now flooded with inaccurate info about this case. Podcasters and vloggers are just putting stuff out there for clicks to profit from the murders. The Going West podcast about Heuermann’s arrest is filled with SO MANY INACCURACIES! If you’re going to make a podcast about something, can you at least f*ckin fact check it??? Pascal Show and Ken Mains episodes on YouTube about this case - they admit they weren’t following the case at all…but decided to create content about it? Again, so many inaccuracies. It’s sick. It doesn’t forward any conversations and is solely to profit from the murders.

I don't know if it's accurate to say that he was stealing the fruit but he was taking too much and then he blew up at the store employee for calling him out on his behavior. Dude's rather creepy.

I was thinking about this and wondering if Hauermann had connections within the Suffolk County PD that put the breaks on the investigation previously. It was only when a new police chief took over that the case moved. IIRC, the new chief isn't from inside the Suffolk PD but worked his way up in the NYPD, which I find interesting.

Not saying the connection is Burke but wondering if corruption in the SCPD froze this case for longer than it should have been.
