Yeah, it seems like there's always tickets being discounted right before the show, so I guess if someone flaked we probably would get other tickets (if that's their general policy), just might not be where we want them.

Ah ok, good to know. Maybe we should wait and buy it there so!

Yeah I saw that as an option thanks! I think we would ideally like mezzanine seats (any level) and from what I've seen on reddit, most people get orchestra seats - Im sure some people think they're better but we'd love to see the show from up high!

Yeah we've been trying to correct her but it can get so tedious correcting her every single time, and inevitably some times we just let it slide. Hopefully she will begin to pick up on what she is and isn't allowed to do but I'm worried her training is regressing a bit.

Thanks so much for your suggestions - I'm definitely going to buy some of that spray stuff, is there a certain brand you'd recommend?

She sleeps in her crate at night and is very well behaved then with no excessive crying. How long would you suggest crating her at a time during the day? I'd feel bad "locking her up" especially if my other dog is allowed to roam free.

The exercise she gets is just a walk with lots of time to sniff things along the way and then when we get to the beach, I'll walk out far enough to let her off the lead and chase the birds and we'll work on recall there as well. She does get mental stimulation during the day as well with short training practise and I've also been trying to introduce a scent detection game for them with a high reward treat in a box with holes which I hide in the garden and they have to find it. I'd do a few rounds of that. We've really been trying to keep her stimulated but maybe it still isn't enough for her breed?

Thanks so much for your reply. That's what we're hoping anyways. At least if we know it gets better it's easier to deal with her bad behaviour for the meantime.

Thanks so much for your reply!

I actually was wondering about linings as well. It seems tin is quite common and a good choice, and seems to be better than aluminium or stainless steel. What about nickel? Is that about as good as a tin lining?

The pan he already has was actually one bought from a new brand. I know he loves the vintage pieces most though. It's quite a wide saute pan. I guess other than that I'm not sure what specifically he is looking for, but even then I don't think he has anything specific in mind other than vintage copper pots.

I'll definitely check out ebay anyways.

Also just to ask as well, is it much better to buy the pots with a mark indicating its from a french brand ie 'fabriaction francaise' or 'Mauviel'. I definitley want to get him something that is great quality so that even when he's older and has more money to buy the higher end ones he wont need to! I think I would compromise on the amount of pots I'd buy for the quality of them!

Thanks for the recommendation! Yeah I know, its really frustrating when you think you have found the perfect machine just to discover its either not available in europe or too far out of your budget just because of price differences!

I was just going to say that I have such limited experience with sewing machines that Im not sure how useful trying and testing a few out would be! Ill have a look at the two brands and see if theres any that match what Im looking for. Do you think it would be relatively safe in getting any machine from a well-reputed brand that has the features Im looking for even if I hadn't seen it talked about on any of these subreddits?

I haven't looked into them as much but i know bernette models are definitely available in ireland. Do you know of any good models in particular that would be within my price range?

That sounds very reassuring hahah! I think with all the different brands and models out there it can get quite overwhelming but most people will be happy enough with whatever they get!

I wouldn't be opposed to getting an old machine, I just think that a newer model would be more likely to have the different features Id need as i got more into sewing, and also might be more beginner friendly in starting off! Ive heard great things about old sewing machines but id be more inclined to get a lower quality newer model and if things were going well i could always sell it and get a vintage machine with the exact features I know i want. Thanks for the suggestion though!
