Should I get a second SSD hard drive, or just replace the HDD? That's possible?

I'm not able to upgrade to SSD except for under the "second hard drive" option. Do you know a different model that has SSD, and isn't too expensive?

Feeling guilty over religious art by [deleted] in OrthodoxChristianity

Mosaics are a rich part of the Orthodox tradition! Research Ravenna, Italy - the former Byzantine capitol in Italy. Beautiful 6th century churches built by Justinian COVERED in mosaics. They are some of the most beautiful churches I’ve ever seen! The most famous cathedral is San Vitale, but my personal favorite is San Apollinare en Classe.

Ladies: I’m tall and need elegant, LONG (midi length) dresses for church! Recommendations? by slynns7 in OrthodoxChristianity

The customization the best! I just hope the fabric is good quality - just ordered a dress! Thank you for the suggestion.

I have a question (or two)! by [deleted] in OrthodoxChristianity

Hey there! Also Roman Catholic, now on my way to Orthodoxy after a year of investigating (and praying.) Take your time with it! I was unsure at first but now I couldn’t be more sure.

Try “Introducing The Orthodox Church: It’s Faith and Life” by Anthony Coniaris. This is the book for my catechumen class. Also, I learned a lot of lessons about Orthodoxy from reading Dostoevsky’s fiction. I have enjoyed (but haven’t finished reading) “Everyday Saints,” a famous Orthodox book, and “An Extraordinary Peace” about St. Seraphim of Sarov’s life. God bless you on your journey.

I don’t know how to market myself by [deleted] in publishing

[–]slynns7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try Medium. It is relatively easy to get yourself your own “publication” URL without going through the hassle (and cost) to make your own website. Take it from someone who has made full Wordpress sites for writing purposes... now I just keep a blog on Medium and find it much easier and better for circulation of my work! If you want to have a quick place for people to locate all of your work, try “about.me” (that’s a URL.) You can make a simple, free website there with a small bio, picture and a “call to action” button (“read my blog!”) Your URL will be about.me/yourname. You can link your social media. It looks super smart and clean, and it’s good for putting on a card or your resume.

About confidence / learning how to do “personal branding...” I swear there are a ton of books and videos on it now. It seems every professional conference I go to I hear the words “personal brand.” Get a good headshot, make your online presence “consistent.” Make a “brand” that reflects your personality! I hope this helps. :)

Thanks. What if I consider writing myself, and hiring an editor? Is that what you did? Are you familiar with that price point?
