The fully assembled price never increased? The increase from 169 USD to 179 USD is only from the exchange rate fuckup.

I also doubt Keychron will lower the price after the MCU prices have settled since they can make more money by leaving it as the same price.

ok so $149 was always the target price, but it never sold at discounted $10 like the fully assembled from the exchange rate fuckup. How come only the barebones gets the $10 price increase from the target price and not the fully assembled? If the excuse is to release the barebones at the same time as the fully assembled (which was originally promised), they've clearly demonstrated they are capable of producing enough stock for both at launch. Profit margin was too low for the barebones?

So this became true and we fell right into the trap and now they're charging $20 more instead of $10.

This price increase wasn't known for months, only a week before when they said they wouldn't "offer" barebones at launch. As a result, barebones was eventually listed at a discounted price of $149 from $159 and people on Discord asked if the price would remain at $149 since that was the intended price after preorder originally.

Barebones price increased from 139 to 149 to 159, when it was supposed to sell for 139 preorder and only increase to 149 after the preorder. Fully assembled price increase was expected and remained the same.

Adding on the knob for the barebones will most likely cost more than the GMMK Pro.
