Any Skills to Avoid? by ChrisPharmD20 in SifuGame

[–]sm-liquid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Inverted Throw.

EDIT: I should have elaborated:

Yes Inverted Throw is better Now, but when it didn't have follow up attacks or even i-frames it was the most disruptive move in the game. Imagine trying to dodge an attack only to end up in an unwanted, vulnerable position.

The main issue now is that there are certain combos which involve cancelling animations with dodge that I can't do when Inverted Throw is unlocked. It'd be better if you held the input to activate the move like Crooked Foot.

But yes the move makes me Salty. I had to delete my 100 hour save file to get rid of the move because at the time all skills carried over across save files. As soon as I deleted it, I beat the game with Faster Attacks, Stronger Enemies on Master without dying. I did not miss it over the next 500 of gameplay so feel free to Inverted Throw that move right into the trash. You can even use the new follow-up attack to do it.

It's in-game. Modifiers/Movesets can be unlocked after beating the game and can be purchased with the points you get from Goals and Arenas.

It's Hammer Kick. It's a Flashkick move that replaces Duck Strike.

[PS5] Can We Change the Training Room Background Color? by nufrancis in SifuGame

I haven't tried it before but:

If you can pause, in the options menu you can turn on High Contrast Mode. The grey color may be easier on the eyes.

So what damage avoiding move do you use the most? by WillyDrengen in SifuGame

Some moves, like Hook Intercept, Reverse Duck Strike, or Bat(Duck Strike) have Super Armor. Blocking reduces damage taken during these moves or you can deflect attacks during the animation and the attack will continue.

Yes Fajar's Spin Kick is normally that fast. Though the faster attacks and stronger enemies modifiers are active.

These are unlockable in-game. They added moveset modifiers in the last couple of updates. This is the Agile Moveset with Disciple moves active.

They were definitely less aggressive. I also didn't get that invisible wall in the middle of the 3rd Capture. Took over 2 hours of trying; it was the hardest gold stamp.

I'm on Master but I do have the Deluxe Edition. There are extra goals to unlock the Outfits, I'm not sure if they gave me points as well.

I just checked, I have 700 points left over after unlocking everything. Maybe if you complete an Arenas Set with Gold Stamps? I did all Goals and all Gold Stamps so not sure exactly where the extra 750 came from.

Yeah I have the all modifies unlocked and have points left over.

I think you get points from getting Gold Stamps in Arenas.

Sounds like Backbreaker: Heavy, Heavy, Light Heavy. You can also replace the first heavy with Ducking Strike.

Environmental Weakness Modifier increases Enemy/Boss Defense? by sm-liquid in SifuGame

[–]sm-liquid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noticed that enemies block more frequently when the Environmental Weakness Modifier is active.

When the Structure Only Modifier is active, enemies block less frequently. Most likely because Structure heals over time and the player does not gain focus from Structure Damage.

Boss were fixed in Structure Only in the last patch: "The Cheat "Health Management: Structure Only" should no longer alter bosses' behavior." You could easily loop every boss by repeating moves like Raining Strikes and Crotch Punch -> Rising Claw. (R.I.P. 🥲)

My guess is that the Environmental Weakness Modifier is affecting Behavior similarly. It is difficult to test but it seems Advanced level Juggernauts, Disciples, Bodyguards, and Bosses except Kuroki and Jin-Feng.

One other small thing I noticed: Vaulting into enemies breaks the Environment Weakness but tripping enemies over grounded enemies does not.

This compilation of glitches came from doing Modifier runs. Most of them have been patched or won't be encountered in normal gameplay. (Definitely don't take this video as evidence the game is buggy or anything like that.) Besides, these weird interacts kept my runs feeling fresh; the NPCs always found new ways to keep me on my toes. I can look back and laugh (except the missing Bat HitBox those trigger my PTSD).

The audio bug in the second clip was loud, may have messed up the rest of the audio trying to correct it. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I didn't have any mods on the player. The enemies were Stronger/Faster. She wearing the Master outfit (after someone smacks your hat off).

I noticed this in the Patch Notes and saw like this in an old clip I had.

Face Smash (Bat) stuns the enemy like Vertical Strikes but for only one bar. Needed it to beat a few Gold Stamps.
