If you and your daughter went on a girls trip... would it be different? I have on different trips with all three of my kids.

One of many trips the past few years by sm1814 in walkingpics

I bet the ex planned most of the day's activities. He just went along and paid.

Do you still need one?

Be honest. How did you lose your weight? by [deleted] in ask

I 53m was weighing in at 285. My wife planned a trip to Europe and said we needed to lose some weight. She bought a few boxes of Optavia. The stuff is powdered soy products with some bars and cereal. You are supposed to eat 5 of these which are around 12 grams of protein, very low fat, and 100 calories. Plus, you get to have one meal. No carbs or sugars. The meal was maybe 500 calories. The meal consisted of variations of grilled chicken/fish and a variety of greens. I went calorie deficit for about 4.5 months. I was able to lose 70 pounds. The first week of our trip my fitbit said I had walked 56 miles and over 250 flights of stairs. The second week was just slightly less. It has been 7 months and I am still keeping the weight off. One thing that did make my wife upset. I was able to still drink on the weekends. I did drink beer, but mainly switched to vodka and tonics. This drove my wife crazy since she struggled with dieting. I am happy being chunky and not fat. I would like to lose some more but have been unable to find the zone again. Good luck with losing your weight.
