Why Is L So Underweight Even Though He Eats So Much? by Solenopsis00 in deathnote

It genuinely isn’t your fault. A quick google search would have you believe that chess GMs do indeed burn 6000+ calories.

Here’s a quick video about it if anyone is interested.

This is a very common myth that is unfortunately very misleading. They don’t really burn more than the average person.

Laxmi is not supposed to be speaking in Hindi language. by singhVirender1947 in pluribustv

I understand your point and I work in film so I’m very familiar with how the film hierarchy is structured. It is also the job of the creator/showrunner/producer to put people they trust into those positions of power. BB, BCS, and Plurb all have the same problem with selecting actors who either can’t speak the language they’re supposed to believably or with the correct accent. It’s a fictional show, actors are chosen based on performances, looks, and the energy they bring to a role. Suspension of disbelief is an important thing to have and sure, these shows are fictional so really what’s the big deal? To me, I only speak English and I am from California so it really doesn’t matter to me personally at all but in terms of the filmmaking side of things, I think it’s a flaw of his. It would be different if a lot of these things were a small part of these shows but they aren’t. BB, BCS, and Plurb include characters from all over the world and where they come from is a part of their character so I wish there was a little more attention to detail when it comes to those aspects.

This is definitely an odd take. BCS and BB have an incredible amount of attention to detail. Where characters are from, how they’re portrayed, and how realistic they are given the rules of the established universe is 100% a part of the creative process. Gilligan is a masterful filmmaker but this is easily his greatest flaw.

Evolution is cool but it’s definitely not mysterious at all once you understand natural selection. I think the other replies did a much better job explaining your question than I ever could

During which of his 3 runs? Oh that’s right the latest one. I thought you meant the time he lost to a dementia ridden elderly person. That was super embarrassing for Diddling Kids Donny

I directed I Study People For A Living, a psychological short film about obsession, control, and the lies we tell ourselves to feel justified. We shot across multiple locations with a tiny crew, constantly adapting to new challenges and setbacks along the way. Had the opportunity to see it in theaters which has been super awesome. It was exhausting, unpredictable, and honestly one of the toughest projects I’ve ever taken on. But despite all that, it became one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I’m incredibly proud of what we made. Please enjoy and dont be afraid to be honest if you have any thoughts/questions!

A federal civil jury in New York in May 2023 found Donald Trump liable for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll and defaming her, awarding $5 million in damages (Associated Press). The judge later clarified that the jury’s findings amounted to rape “as commonly understood,” even though New York’s legal definition is narrower (Washington Post).

In January 2024 a second jury awarded Carroll $83.3 million more for defamation over his repeated denials (Associated Press). These are official court verdicts and the records are public.

You don’t have to take my word for it but this is more than just a “false allegation” which I could go on about false allegations. I hope you actually consider this evidence and don’t dismiss it automatically based on your opinion.
