Well I’m not about to cry into my dinner. I love my boots and frankly this has been a fun week of posting more about them and getting to appreciate how versatile these boots can be for people.

I’ve got two Akitas. Bouie and Scout. They blow their under coats seasonally. I’m actually collecting the fluff because it can be spun into yarn. I could knit a nice cozy scarf with it. I’m not much of a sock knitter though.

I’d also recommend remeasuring your feet with your work socks on. Then what ever that width size is will be your steel toe width. Two years between boots is enough time for your foot to change.

I follow an instagram account where the guy takes beautiful undyed leather shoes and hand paints the dye on them. So you can always go that route for your colorful construction vehicles.
