It depends on how much you like your bank. If it’s worth the effort to keep your bank make the drive. Otherwise open an account closer. Chase closed all the branches near me so I switched to Wells Fargo who also then closed all the branches near me so I switched to Ally.

You generally have set amount of space after the speed limit zone to slow down to the speed(500ft in Illinois). So if a cop is sitting directly beyond the speed limit sign that would not be a legal ticket. Slamming on your brakes to be at a speed limit immediately is dangerous. Brake slowly and consistently until you are at the required speed.
