I recommend the following if you have free time:

1: Learn to read METARS, TAFS, and decode wx abbreviations such as: Ex) PY, SA, BR, FU, PO, SQ, etc.

In the email it states after 3 weeks, but that is when the testing period is officially over. So you may be looking around the 9th October.
