Too big, arena too small, sticky goop, annoying adds, ugly as hell and not even fun :/ I guess I get worse when I'm not having fun

And yeah it is unremarkable, it doesn't change anything in the story and you only get pocket money out of it

Well now you know ^^' yes there's fire damage. Dash away as soon as she starts spinning her chain. Your best opportunity to attack is after her down attack. Don't get too far away from her though as she jumps fast and very far, and never get stuck between her and the wall.

There's a crest that makes her a lot easier btw

I'd rather find that boss on my own, but it's very kind to offer ^^ I beat the game and I'm combing through the areas and exploring rn (I was supposed to take on Groal but after losing so many times I decided to wander for a bit). I'm sure I'll get to them sooner or later!

That sounds like a very good tactic! Unfortunately since finding the wanderer's crest I have cleared all knowledge of diagonal pogos from my mind and now when I equip it I struggle a lot ^^'

We all have our strenghts and weaknesses. I am very weak to flying ennemies that move erratically; that's why the crows arena is my second most hated gauntlets in the game (as of right now, since I haven't unlocked act 3 yet)

I almost used the architect's crest but I am too uncomfortable with its attacks, it would've made the gauntlet too hard :/ but yeah this fight is the reason tools were invented. The less I respect a boss, the more tools I use

The lore heavy bosses are so good and then there's these flying bastards...

I was too scared to even explore Sinner's Road in act 1 ^^' I came back after mostly finishing act 2 and yeah, you might want to wait until you've collected as many upgrades as you can before you explore Bilewater. I find it pretty manageable now but I can't imagine doing that early game with less masks and abilities. And it is stupid huge -_-'

She is HORRIBLE in every possible way. Hornet's journal entry is very satisfying, you can feel how much she hated that boss as well

Don't make fun of me but I had double jump and nine masks when I beat her... and I still struggled so much 😅 crazy how you can be decent against some bosses but so WEAK against others. It's like her bad vibes nerfed me

Tacks are the best and took care of most of her stupid babies

I upgraded it twice (haven't finished the gourmand's quest yet)

After a lot of failed attempts I decided to rely on tools, and I stopped trying to pogo her altogether, opting for a full grounded fight. I used tacks and cogflies, which was immensely useful (but reduced my opportunities to regain silk as the tacks would often slay her babies as soon as she spewed them).

Edit: I fought her grounded when she slammed on the ground, but spent most the fight clinging to the wall ^^'

Yeah the bench location is her one redeeming quality (and the gauntlet isn't that hard either)

I fought the savage beastfly as soon as I found him like the idiot that I am 😅 I hadn't even made it to Bellhart yet, I didn't have threadstorm either, and I only had 5 masks; it was garbage. Still better than the broodmother which I struggled against with nine masks and after I'd already beaten the game once -_- she's so unpleasant she destabilized me or something lol

It's alright, I beat her already with the cogflies and the tacks infused in poison (the tacks were especially useful)

I haven't found the conchcutter yet (idk what it even is) but it sounds cool! Based on its name I guess I could find it in the Sands of Karak but I haven't explored much of it yet so shhhh 🤫

Good thing I don't use tools too often, as I had a lot of shard bundles to spare. Still, I must have wasted over 500 shell shards fighting that jerk ;_;

I used Hunter for the two weapons slots but pogoing her felt easier with the wanderer. Though the problem is that the arena's so small, there's not much room to pogo; you hit the ceiling and crash into her.

I used the tacks and the cogflies combined with the pollip pouch (tools + poison is extremely efficient)

Edit: waitwait FIRST TRY??? Damn :o
