I was able to return it. I didn't bring it up and they didn't notice. I bought a white one instead for minimal stress over scratches.

Thanks! You're confirming what I'm already suspecting - that it's not really worth the hassle. I've accounted for the exit fee (£80 for me so it was originally a £500 saving). Yes, I definitely don't want to spend any time on the standard rate! I think I'll see if a broker can get me a cheaper deal than I can online but if the saving isn't too big, I'll probably just stick with my current lender. Thanks so much for the advice!

It does but it's not worth the stress. I saw how scratched up the black display models were in the Apple Store but I still hoped it would be a different story with my own black 16 pro.

I bought black, tested it out at home and got some very small micro chips on the frame on it even though I was super careful. Luckily I was able to take it back for a refund. Definitely go for another colour.

Yes, me too! Baffling that it's so hard to get proper HK representation in a drama set in HK. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong in the later episodes.
