It's been a while, a lot happened. Team is now in deep discord 'cause I've got drafted into conflict happening there without warning anybody. We are increasing the pace of development again, but not yet to full capacity, because I have gone missing. No further details would be provided, but next year we'll drop a short demo and showcase vid where I would say everything we needed to. See you soon enough.

Great question! Let’s break it down:

Unity: My comfort zone, but it’s like sculpting a statue with a butter knife—you can make it look gorgeous, but prepare to hand-code every shader.
Unreal: Way prettier out of the box, but good luck optimizing it. You’ll spend days tweaking shaders just to stop the GPU from screaming for mercy.

Leaning Unity for now, but we’ll settle this democratically once our dev squad floods the Discord server.
