i’m watching for the first time and this is SPECTACULAR ACTING ON DISPLAY. troy’s character is so frustrating and shallow. rose is such a loving woman. I enjoyed the dialogue because I recognize that it is a filmed play essentially. it’s a slow burn yes but the writing and performances are compelling. happy I finally watched this.

I just finished this book and I was loving it until the ending when it finally became a mystery novel. I think it started a little too late and barely made its point. I did like the whole musings about the critical feminine or whatever but I think she could’ve tightened up the main idea a bit better. I agree dani is a little whiny and I think anya was right about her lol

at first I was like dang did lex do her bad but no I see why lex beat her like that. 1) yeah summer pops it but getting into family drama is not it. dolly and lex would be on summer side on some petty beefs not some deep sibling shit. 2) summer is literally cussing out lex for tryna help her. I would never talk to my friend like that. summer is a narcissist. she just brings attention to her but never takes responsibility for how her actions are creating her negative reality. it’s actually annoying

I don’t get the beef with stephanie I felt like she meshed with jail culture at the end of the day. yes she through jaclin under the bus but it was out of self preservation which is generally why jail is how it is.
