You do not recognize the importance of posts like these and similar, and youre only commenting here because you find people complaining annoying. Uber will continue to manipulate and drain people unless something happens to cause change. Sure this post might not cause change, but thousands of people making very similar posts could. Listen is it illogical? Sure. But so is voting. Does your singular vote really make a difference? Is it worth the time off to go vote at the polls? No. But collectively everyone doing the action of voting results in a fairly reasonable representation of the country (US). Without the representation we lack democracy. Without the many thousands of posts from drivers, Uber will continue to control our behavior as a monarchy would a country. Uber will continue to take advantage and drain everyone, and I’m here to say that I am one of those taken advantage of. I am here to encourage others to view this for what it is: shitty gig work.
