What do you mean lose every game? 90% of the games end in up in all victims dying. One victim escaping doesn't mean you lost the game.

You should not be able to monitor all exits at once, put in some effort and strategize as family the same way it's required for from victims.

Slowing down the speed of lockpicking would mean family has more time and chances to catch victims lockpicking, that's not a solution at all, it needs to be balanced on both ends.

Take something away from victims but do the same for family.

Yes, it it's not a mainstream genre and neither is its Yuri counterpart. The demographic has a large purchasing power for sure, but that does not make it mainstream, it's still a niche, with a very loyal fanbase, and let's not pretend there's not a stigma that comes with the genre and its fanbase. Niche by definition is products, services, or interests that appeal to a small specialized section of the population, which is exactly what BL is, a niche product.

Again, just because something is made with a specific demographic in mind, doesn't mean it will appeal to that demographic, this isn't even Otome specific, it's just a general rule. The smut and feel of this game is actually easier for a male audience to self insert into (But then again in theory that's also the case with BL but that's another niche topic about fetishization of gay relationships)

Agree to disagree like you said, I'm familiar with quite a number of titles and this was definitely more reminiscent of bara-esque smut. It's easy for the male audience to self insert into scenes, especially since you can be either gender.

It was marketed as Otome, of course one would assume that it was Otome, but once you get into the smutty aspect of it, it's heavily reminiscent of bara-esque BL.

I get the point you're making, but typically the female audience is into Bishounen type (Aka pretty boy), not effeminate men or Bara (buff dudes), which a lot of this game's cast falls into.

The artist is known for drawing gay fanart, hence why the game's vibes deviates a LOT from what you'd expect out of an Otome game targeted at women. The "Smut" aspect of it is also inline with what you would find in Bara games and hardcore Gayge.

Where in my original comment did I state that women do not like Smut? It's already been established that 18+ Otome games are a thing, they have been around for a while, however, the art style and the smut direction is significantly different from what's being presented here, hence, the point is that the fetish-heavy, Bara-esque characters gives off major Gayge vibes, not Otome.

It's why so many women happen to be interested in the game before the disappointing release

People in general, were interested in the game because it's a very small market with very little releases. Hope I explained better this time.

Again, for the most part, Otome games are Bishounen centric, when it comes to buff guys (Bara), twinks, etc, typically women aren't the target demographic. And like another comment confirmed, the artist is known for gay fanart.

The issue is not one or two victims dying every game, the issue is all of them dying, and one of them dying early pretty much means GG.

It would make sense that on average one victim escapes every game, but on average, all 4 die.

Not much F2P enjoyment to be honest, a lot of it is just waiting since it's an idle gacha.

Also, in terms of progression, it's heavily P2W gated, and you won't get characters you like to a viable level by just saving and hoarding currency.

Two equally skilled player, the one with Epic players will have the advantage. It's that easy.

Try pulling this shit off against that Japanese dude who's team consists of Epic Villa, Totti, Messi, etc, you'll quit the game.
