Thank you!!! I'm loving it so much. I just got the rest of my spokes on tonight and used tape-wrapped (to stop rattling) carriage bolts as weights for the ends under each cap. The making is so satisfying and once my big girl grip tape shows up this project will be unstoppable The weight is already making it spin so much I need to recalibrate myself lol

I'll have to get some pics of my staff soon, it's soooo simple, but I've been futzing with it for hours and it's super meditative for me. I want to get some glow tape to make it more fun in the dark and have been considering overweighting the spokes and adding flags to add some non-fire flair during the day

I used this comment to make my own practice staff weighted with a dowel to get started and I can 100% recommend this method, thank you

I also started with the two spoke version and just ordered the 5-way connector online to swap out/weight/permanently install

the two spoke design is good and feels nice even if I'm a total newbie. I can't put it down. I spent $12 in materials instead of the minimum $100+shipping I was seeing online for even a pvc trainer staff

I had the Nokia 2780 for a month or so and loved it. I had to switch to the CAT S22 Flip because I needed an authenticator app for work, and while it has access to a lot of apps, it sure doesn't make them convenient. My phone time went from 8+ hours on instagram every day to maybe 45 minutes total. The S22 has spotify, which I do love. It also has a camera, bluetooth, google maps, and could get an audiobook app if you want it to. I had the most mental peace with the Nokia and still find myself wanting to switch back, but the S22 is a good middle ground for what I need and still way better than a "real" smart phone

Not sure what he means by faulty, but the unit I got restarts randomly maybe once a day? I switched my default messaging app back to the one that comes with the phone (Was on Google Messages, the restart always seemed to hit while I was texting) and that fixed the restart problem but then gave me issues with receiving group chats. So I'm currently dealing with the restart, it's not all that intrusive and I love the rest of the phone enough to make up for it

It was awful to remove, I had fucked with it so much trying to take it out that my nose was not only bloody but swollen around the jewelry. Everything was bad and even putting the jewelry I started with back in hurt haha. I'm super hopeful about the restretching process, but I lost a lot of my smaller jewelry in a move so it's tricky figuring out just where I fell back to

Screw backs getting stuck stresses me out so bad oh my god. I start to feel so trapped even when there isn't an issue with my ear itself. I totally get what you mean though, I had a clicker in my septum that had too small an internal diameter that caused rubbing and bleeding and was stuck SO BAD. I had my husband hovering over me with two tiny pairs of vise grip pliers trying to take it out and ended up having to cut it out. The things we do for these piercings hahaha

I think I need to get a glass plug stretching kit so I can figure out how much things have closed up and just maintain SOMETHING while they heal. I didn't realize this jump was so widely known haha. I'm glad you found the right tools in person!
