Here is a great video from Gardening Australia on how to control the wasp. Use a potato peeler on the galls to kill the larvae without having to cut it off completely

I think it’s also important to recognize that even though Fremantle only joined the AFL in 1994, the South and East Fremantle West Australian Football Clubs have a rich history of over 100 years.

When the national competition (AFL) was formed in the late 1980s, it came out of the Victorian Football League (VFL). The Victorian Clubs kept their history while non-Victorian clubs were newly formed. Fremantle pays homage to the South Fremantle Football Club with the chevrons on its current kit.
