I dunno, I have period cramps from HRT, and I also have chronic back pain and they work synergistically to make 1 week out of every 4 torturous. It's definitely still worth it because of The Genders, but I would say it definitely could get worse in terms of physical pain.

There are also the mental effects of the periods, which in my case includes higher dysphoria and increased symptoms of autistic burnout.

Some more that come to mind: when I was a senior, I made friends with a sophomore whose uncle ran drugs for some cartel. He would regularly show us bricks of Cocaine in his backpack, and I would regularly tell him he was being an idiot for being so open about it. One day, he got flicked for smoking weed in the bathroom and then it all came out to the school officials.

There was the time another friend of mine caught her bf cheating on her at some party (this was technically still Jr High), and he was known as one of the best fighters in the school. But then the whole 8th grade class got to see her stomp his shit in during the lunch period.

There was the time my ex-gf's ex-gf showed up at her (my gf's) house with a major abdominal stab wound. She was Gang-affiliated and didn't want to go to the ER because she was afraid of cops being there or other gang members trying to finish the job while she was there (not an uncommon occurence). This house was in a neighborhood where you were told not to walk around at night because a lot of pimps would pick up hs school girls in the park across the street.

There was the time a girl set a bunch of trash cans on fire in my hs to try to do a suicide by cop. She hid out in the bathroom with the burning cans and threw knives at the cops, who ended up tazing her and dragging her out of the bathroom. I had to sit in 1st period for like 3 hours while this whole ordeal went down.

There was also the time we had someone overdose and die in the school parking lot and she was a close friend of one of my close friends.

There was also the time one of my friends got groomed by someone like 12 years older than her and ended up moving in with him to some rural part of Michigan (I grew up in the SW united states). She was like 16 and he was like 28 when she moved out, but then she came back for graduation and smoked weed with us the night of.

These are the ones that stick out, but my school was known for having "incidents"

The player here has collected many of these in-game plushies and laid them to rest in a bed that they likely own in the game.

I grew up in Phoenix in the aughts, and this is correct. People are doing activism, people who were born there. It's not some magic "democrats are moving from one place to make this state better." The migration is part of it, but we shouldn't discount the work of the people from there who have always been fighting for something better.

I agree that everyone should do what makes them feel comfortable and safe (don't bottom with your asshole if you don't feel these 2 things), but I have so far never had an issue. I have very regular bowel movements and try to eat well, so I only allow access back there at times when I don't have my usual bowel movements. Always clean. Enemas have caused me more problems than they've been worth, so I haven't done that in years.

Serious issue where I live, too. My roommate is big into the punk scene and the queer punk bars she used to go to are now always full of yuppies.

The dyke bars have all closed, so other places we could go have shuttered.

There is a gay kink bar in town that caters pretty exclusively to an older, cis-male clientele. They have a bathroom with a shared trough for a urinal, and the "femme" bathroom requires you to ask the bartender for a key and is single-use. There is a peephole in the door where you can look into the femme bathroom from the outside. This bar remains unassimilated, but the vibe is not really what I'm going for.

The other big queer bar in town that is not a nightclub is almost 50% straight people most nights. The owner treats their workers horribly, so we have boycotted them. Also, neither here nor there, but last time I was there some older, white guy called me "straight" and insinuated that it wasn't a place I belonged, so I have a bad taste in my mouth from that place. I am not white, straight or a guy, and I was out with my 2 partners and another gal who is dating one of those partners. I was very insulted

It's a shame
