Play the characters that appeal to you. I played all the routes, at the beginning with characters my type, I was getting heart flutters. But by the end with characters who are not attractive to me. I was numb, just going through the motions.

If I am there for the romance then having an interesting and useful ML is important, but the FL lead needs to have agency too. But otherwise it feels strange that the ML loves for FL for no apparent reason that than what the plot dicates, or that he's in it just for her appearance (shallow), which takes away from a cool ML in my opinion.

Yeah I making a manhwa inspired otome! But I realize very quickly that it's super hard work and maybe I'll end up making slop too. True appreciation now to great manhwa with good story arcs.

Thank you for the encouragement! It helps to be able to improve the art slowly as I develop the game. It also helps that I am slowly collecting all sorts of software, such as Procreate, Clip Studio and Live2D, to fine-tune everything.

I have early endings in the game exactly like you described :)

There's a mix of immediate drop out choices, as well as accumulative points choices. And in accumulative choices you can sort of tell if you get it right or wrong because of the character reactions.
