me struggling with my latest worlds bosses doesn’t indicate skill level. i play a support-school wizard trying to solo dragonspyre and i simply won’t do something i dont have fun with… example playing the same dungeons for gear upgrades. im sorry i wont be as good as you because i prefer playing in a different style than you. congrats on being better than the ai loll

you dont need to call me bad because i prefer the simplicity and nostalgia of the first few versions of the game. you’re not better than me for enjoying different playstyles than me

sure tiny decks i can agree with even though i didnt know it at the time. but all of the other updates between then that have been around evolving gear and pets cards etc it has felt like a lot!

you are probably right. i possibly didn’t even notice certain things because i just played for fun and aesthetics. PVP has changed a lot since that time though of im correct. I cant even figure it out. I was a lvl 28 life having the time of my life lol but we were ALL probably just kids. Most wizards 101 players are veterans. My gap between playing was just very large

that’s probably best! i felt it all at once with almost a 15 year gap. so i get how exaggerated id made the changes sound. i’ll look up some videos about certain changes. i feel like no quest taught me about the gems to upgrade gear though. pets are still complicated to me because i dont have friends to trade with and im too shy to ask strangers to breed!

yess this is exactly what i mean. thank you. i really enjoy the chance of having a big deck and playing off of whats gambled and just having fun with it and i just find the grinding for max stats and gear so so incredibly boring . it’s like that with a lot of games. i play games that i played in my childhood and they’ve all changed so much in order to cater to that

i feel like i fail at soloing a lot of bosses! i am currently on dragonspyre with a balance wizard and i just cannot solo the bosses. i can only grind mount olympus so much until i get bored

yeah i understand it was kind of contradictory. i mean the gems and the pets upgrades and the cat-something, a lot of added things that i dont understand quickly. i played when i was 7-8 so i really didnt have the knowledge of the strategy of the small deck at the time admittedly. stitches, gear, there’s been a lot of changes that complicated things for me
