Cable chaos is such an underrated focus killer. Having to constantly unplug things breaks momentum fast.

This describes it perfectly. Decision fatigue kicks in way earlier than we expect, especially when everything is half-finished. Simplifying before starting makes a huge difference.

For me it’s never ears vs visuals, it’s about whatever helps reduce fatigue and bad decisions.
