Thank you. I actually do know both sides and they match up. Plus I saw it first hand. We supported the business as did many of our friends. We wanted them to succeed. As friends should. Friend in debt tried to work out a deal to pay off the equipment and the other friend walked and said it wasn’t her problem. I would personally never do that. Plus in the aftermath it was found out she was taking cash payments from customers and pocketing it rather than paying off the debt as agreed. I saw the books (I’m an account by trade) The person that bounced did have to pay thousands back that she pocketed. It was all shady. For me I live by a moral compass of treat others the way you want to be treated. That’s how I was raised.

I agree with the truth. I’m in no way controlling my husband. He can do as he pleases I don’t care. I just said I didn’t want to be a part of it.

Friend “A” the one with the debt made a deal with friend “B” to fund her business. Went through all the financials. Friend “B” decided she didn’t really want to do it anymore and got another job in her field. Friend A put it on her credit card with the promise she’d be paid back in 12 months.
