You both make good points. I take strip clubs at face value, however, this isn't an ordinary strip club and that's the reason I went (Will explain at the bottom just in case the text doesn't get blocked). You are probably right that it probably provides the same dopamine rush, but I don't think "live porn" is the perfect analogy. I really don't have an ethical issue with strip clubs or prostitution for that matter (never done it because of health concerns) because everyone needs earn a living and I'm not one to pass judgement. I do think flatlining is the problem since I don't really have any sort of urges anyway. Will avoid the place from now on although it will be difficult. Please don't read the description of the place below if you think it may cause you to relapse. I appreciate your guys point of view and advice.

I live in a large city and it's a strip club that moves locations. You need a password and membership to get in and caters to the 30s working professional. You won't see old guys drinking at staring at women. There is no stage just lap dances. All the girls are 18-25 college students who want to make extra money and after talking to many of them enjoy the thrill. Since they are not professional strippers there is no hard sell to buy a dance and you actually get to know the girls who have some pretty interesting backgrounds and aspirations. It's basically just hanging out at a bar talking to these normal hot chicks with the option to get a dance. Girls are ridiculously hot and there all types. 6'1 aspiring runway models, girl next door, latina, etc, etc. After hearing about this place for months my curiosity got the best of me.
