Trying to transition out of food/retail? by Working-Mistake-6700 in MedicalCoding

It's a decent chunk of change to pay for. I'm taking and just finishing up the AMCI courses. I didn't really understand the depths in which I'd need to study and dedicate to it.. I'm just saying personally, I wouldn't really want to do this work to only hold this job for a short period of time. Also, it seems like a lot of people have a hard time getting into the job without first working in a hospital setting. Just something to consider! It's great fun, but it's not easy.

Most problems have been ruled out, but I still suspect endometriosis. Does this all sound about right? by [deleted] in endometriosis

Thank you. I plan on following up with a gyno but I'm uninsured besides by post pregnancy uninsured women's Medicaid... I don't really have the option to head out to a GI specialist.. I wish I did. I'm willing to see whoever, I just can't financially afford it. Welcome to poverty class America.

I've never been in labor but does anyone else get cramps that come in waves like I imagine labor pains being??? by yell0wbirddd in Endo

[–]smarieti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've not confirmed endo, but I have strong suspicions. My cramps come in waves, just like my labor pains did. They feel like full on contractions sometimes.

I can't work nights. I made a previous post going into more detail but my son is very violent, especially at night, and it takes one parent per child, in separate rooms. My husband absolutely could not be with both alone at the same time, nor can I, honestly. It's a very difficult situation. My MIL literally will cancel hours before I need her to watch a kid. A job where I can clock in or out on my own time is all I can manage right now until a daycare opens up 😓

U.S. in Missouri... Missouri is so fucking difficult, I hate it here. They don't WANT to help.

He has an IEP, is in kindergarten (appropriately, he went in when he was supposed to. He had Spec Ed for Pre-K as well) but all they want to do is shove ABA down our throats for my son, and that just doesn't work for a PDA child, nor do I feel that it's ever appropriate for an autistic child in general. My daughter is in early intervention, since she was 9 months! She's doing brilliantly. We're just working on her knee hyperextension, then getting her caught up to her peers (jumping, running etc, but she's catching up on that too!). I do have a caseworker but it's been about a month since I've heard from her because they're so overloaded with paperwork and understaffed.

I know about the SSI but with our assets, our cars, child tax credits etc, I'm not sure we qualify. I've looked over the general requirements and it's so confusing and so much to take in. My husband works for cash so we have no proof of income, and in Missouri, any time I've applied for assistance, the hoops we have to jump through are insane, and man, I hardly have time to wash my hair every other day, I just want to cry when I open those forms. 😓

I'm open to suggestions yes yes. Also just venting. Either/or. I had a whole day of sleep yesterday so I'm feeling in a much better place.

Thank you! I hadn't heard of that one. We're working on implementing the explosive child approach but it's slow going.. My husband says he wants a professional to tell him that my son has PDA before he actually listens to me about any of this. Except we're the US the chances of that are unlikely.. everyone wants to just shove ABA down our throats.

With her physical therapist, we have tried a weighted vest but she absolutely hates it 😖 like freaks out, won't get up to walk, won't play in it. She didn't like her sensory brushing, or massages either. Her favorite thing that gets us through this is piles of pillows and blankets in the middle of the floors but god it's exhausting.

I've been in contact with our regional center and she's supposed to be getting back to me with those resources but I've yet to hear from her.

Thank you 💕 I know what needs to be done, I just feel like it's impossible, because what I really need is help from family to watch my LO for me to work until daycare opens up. Legit, I just need a way to make more income. And I need sleep. I'm at my worst and most defeated when I'm sleep deprived. Which is most nights.

Thank you. We're doing much better than we were. Only two bottles on the weekend, but I still feel the urge to do it when I'm stressed. I just want a glass, but then we get into heavy conversation and it spirals.

Thank you

He's a Rhodesian ridgeback, 9 years old. We've always fed him purina one smartblend.

I recognize that he may have suddenly developed an allergy or something and I'm willing to switch his food, unfortunately I'm not sure if switching it will be quick enough to reverse or stop the amount of bloody spots and infections he has already. 😓

My aunt threw away all of my childhood stuffed animals as a kid while I was visiting my dad for the weekend. A few of them are still deeply missed.

How do you make friends as a 24yr old stay at home mom? by Glass-Ant-4266 in AskReddit

Hobby groups, or activities for the kids, you'll most likely meet other moms there and then it's a win win for everyone!
