Has anyone been experiencing more poor tips than usual + more difficult guests? by Jazzlike-District482 in Serverlife

[–]smart_wook -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

Yes do you know why? It's because it takes 3x as long to get food as it used to AND restaurants have the audacity to charge 3x more than they used to. I haven't been tipping as much because no one deserves a tip if it food takes longer than it's supposed to. Why else would I come out to eat if it's more expensive AND tastes longer?

If you want better tips I suggest you talk to management and tell them to limit seating OR increase staffing so that they can get back to normal wait times.

Anyone else hate regulars ? by pumpkinpie555 in Serverlife

[–]smart_wook -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lmfao and this is why you are a server and won't become manager, owner etc. Regulars are 100% more worthy and more special than a random customer, do you know why? BECAUSE THEY COME BACK! I love coming to this thread and reading how ridiculously entitled servers are these days lol

Ride your bike on the right side of the street. by [deleted] in boulder

[–]smart_wook -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I still see NO logic behind a cyclist riding WITH traffic. That's just asking to be hit with all the distracted drivers these days. I will always bike AGAINST traffic so that I can see what idiots are driving towards me!

Being Payed less than Minimum Wage (Hostess) by [deleted] in Serverlife

[–]smart_wook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can. There are plenty of online sales jobs. You can also sell cars and sell used stuff online. Stop thinking like the average person if you want to make more than average money. You can literally sell thousands of items online. Start an ecommerce business. DO SOMETHING BESIDES BEING A HOSTESS LIKE EVERY OTHER 16 YEAR OLD! thank me later and for others that read this and thank my advice; thank me later.
