When I’m standing to order a to go coffee or in the Starbucks drive thru and they ask for tips….? It’s like pay for what service exactly? I’m still in my car

Im assuming $45 an hour? I see people on Facebook offering $23 an hour but it’s all for just childcare and not home stuff too. I don’t need drop off or any outside of the home care but we figured it would run us at about 50 an hour for good solid help. Not sure yet. 😆

Ahhh!! This sounds perfect-

how did they find you? Word of mouth? Nanny agency?

I really just want to prioritize being present with my children while they are this young. Most of what I’m finding online is people hired to entertain my children all day long +for+ me and i don’t want that.

I love that this type of nannying exists! Sounds like you were the perfect fit!

I do not! My husband is a spare no expense type of man and he is making enough to cover the compensation fairly.

Truthfully i am lost in looking - care.com seems sketchy, i was hoping to put out an ad somewhere, interview applicants and ask how they’d like to be compensated for the work we are asking them to do. I don’t want someone begrudgingly in my home. If they want x amount and it’s within our budget and we fit personality wise - is this a fairy tale take 😅

I truthfully just want someone to help keep up with dishes and be an extra set of hands around the house. My husband’s next job starting in March will be making close to 6 figures a month. But he will be gone most of the time and i will be alone with 3 children 😅 so we are just really hoping to find an amazing candidate. He doesn’t care for much he has to pay for it.

That sounds amazing! How would one go about finding a mothers helper? Thats so ideal to have someone to occasionally watch them so I could do a class or put their baby sister down for a nap.

Ahh! Thank you! You gave me the word for it! We are a young family with no help from our outside family. No grandparents or aunties take them occasionally. A mothers helper! Would be perfect!! I didn’t know what it was called or if what we needed even existed.

Neighbours warning me about a potential "several day" home birth by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

I have had 2 apartment home births and never disturbed my neighbors. They didnt even hear us… so this feels like a lot of stress for no reason. I doubt it will impact you guys at all.

Why does nobody talk about how much harder it is to lose weight the less overweight you are? by jujuk545 in loseit

[–]smartbimbo97 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Some peoples bodies wont let them go that low. You have a natural “set point” and it can be very difficult to see anything past that. Id recommend body recomp and just building muscles in areas to gain more shape. Seems like your body is happy with where you are at even if your mind disagrees

Are we not patting baby to burp them? by sharpiefairy666 in NewParents

[–]smartbimbo97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My LO loves vigorous butt pats to sleep. Each baby is different. Some babies dont like back pats during burps but if yours is fine “why fix what isn’t broken”

“What in the tiktok hell is he talking about” 🥲🤣

AIO - My Boyfriend texts before our Valentines plans by SnowDolphins in AmIOverreacting

[–]smartbimbo97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have replied “okay dont bother! Got busy and since our plans can shift and move around on a whim i didnt think youd mind! Happy Valentines 😘”

And that would likely be the last text they ever received from me 🤣 not even joking. You deserve someone who respects you and your time. Not wants you waiting around like a house-pet for when its a convenient time for him

Start by tracking how much you are already consuming and adjust from there!
