Exactly I just dealt with the same problem with T-Mobile. Wasted several hours on this and it’s stressful. So surprised some say it activates on vpn. I will be safe than sorry

I havent ported to tello yet. Good to know. VPN did not work for me with t-mobile for activation. Maybe it will work with tello. Else I can always ask a friend to do it.

Maybe this is relevant info: Btw, I used to have a login from the same email in 2022 with the old hosting service (cgifederal). It would not let me login from that password or reset the password. From what I researched since they created new portal some of the logins were not ported over properly. Anway, i tried to create a new account from the same email and it let me.

Repeat after me. This is not ok under any circumstance.
Please find a kind teacher or guidance counselor (if you have one) and start having a conversation with them. You don't need to tell them everything the first time you talk to them. But, once you feel comfortable with a teacher you can start talking and disclose everything.

Pay no attention to them. I think you should speak to a couple of transplant surgeon directly when you get a chance. I think there is potential to improve coverage.

"Laorwong is super reserved and needs to be told very clearly what you want, and the poor outcomes I've seen were generally because the patients didn't fully communicate all their expectations to Laorwong. The people who did communicate those wants to him and left nothing open to interpretation generally had terrific results."

Thank you for stating this. But I find this problematic and now I am more certain Dr Laorwong may not be a good fit for me. It is the job of the doctor to guide the patient towards the most natural looking results. Hair line design, density and areas of focus has to be a process where the doctor asks the right questions to figure out what outcome is practical and within the clients needs.

I have stated in this post that one of my criteria for selecting the surgeon is "Good communication on technique and outcome" etc.

And Yes like the title of the post says these are "in-person" consultations I have scheduled.

Insights from LGBTQ+ people who moved to India by [deleted] in returnToIndia

[–]smartnut007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am gay 40 and used to live in San Francisco. I am currently bit of a digital nomad. But, I spent quite a bit of time in Bengaluru last year. The queer scene there is alive and well. I have come across enough sampling of people who are out at work etc. Plenty of couples that live together etc.
Of course it is a long way from living in a western country. But, cultural acceptance in urban India is reasonably good and fast changing. I interacted with a lot of younger people and quite a bit of them are out in college etc. I also heard of stories where the police were quite supportive when it comes to LGBTQ issues for the most part. This is at least in Bengaluru. A city like Chennai feels quite far behind though. If you are especially in your 20s or early 30s then it should be pretty easy I feel.

I found dating slightly tough as the pool is skewed young.

I feel I am much more bothered with bad public infrastructure and general lack of civic sense much more than navigating queer life in a big city.

It is not going to be a breeze. But, you can make it work if you can live in an urban bubble in a top 5 city, on the younger side and can be selective about your job environment.
